Student Information and Password
The College of Electrical Training will use all information that is collected and provided by the student for the purpose of the student's initial and continued enrolment and identification only. This information will not be provided to any third party, without your express permission.
Passwords should be kept private and confidential at all times. The College of Electrical Training will have no record of student's login details and students should keep their details in a safe place. The College of Electrical Training cannot be held responsible for any difficulties occurring through the disclosure of passwords to another party and / or lost login details.
Course Completion
To be deemed competent the student needs to answer at least 85% of all course assessment questions correctly. Further, full payment must be received by the College of Electrical Training before a White Card as well as a Statement of Attainment can and will be issued.
Payment and Declaration Form
Online payment is made via direct bank transfer, money order or cheque.
Full payment and the completed and signed Declaration Form need to be received by the College of Electrical Training in order to issue and send the White Card to the student. Upon receipt of the full payment and the Declaration Form completed by all parties (student and witness) (and other forms if applicable) the CET will send the White Card and Statement of Attainment within two working days.
Express Post
Should the student require the White Card documents urgently, the CET must be advised that the student wishes to receive the items via ‘Express Post’. Additional postage fees apply. The College of Electrical Training takes no responsibly for delays caused by Australia Post.
Course Fees
Students paying the Construction Training Fund’s (CTF’s) subsidised fee are required to print, complete and return the CTF Work History Form before a White Card can be issued. The College of Electrical Training will handle the claim process for the student. Should CTF decline the student’s claim the full fee will become due and must be paid by the student.
Persons paying the NECA Member Fee are required to provide their correct NECA membership number during the registration process. Students must ensure they provide the correct member number as false information given will result in the registration being declined. NECA Members who believe they are elible for the CTF Subsidised Fee will need to refer to the above point ("students paying the CTF subsidy fee...")
Help from Third Parties
The College of Electrical Training reserves the right to contact students who are believed to have received help from third parties in the completion of the course and its assessments. Upon verification, should the College of Electrical Training not be satisfied that the registered student completed the course no White Card will be issued. In this case, no fee refund will be given.
General Course Cancellation and Refund Policies
