Southern Campus Extension
Due to increasing demand for electrical training particularly prevocational and apprenticeship qualifications the Southern Campus of the College of Electrical Training has secured both State and federal funding grants to enlarge the campus. The funding will be used to build six additional classrooms, a large workshop, instructor accommodation and ablutions. Once completed, it will enable the College to effectively double the number of apprentices in training from the current 340 to 700.
The work is programmed to be completed by the end of May 2010 and you can check this site regularly for updates of progress.
