As an independent electrical contractor, it’s crucial to adequately understand the relevant statutory and legislative requirements for electrical contracting work. At CET we dedicate nine days to this vital part of the course to ensure you’re ahead of the game.
We expose you to trainers who are experts in their fields; lawyers and accountants who not only practice, but train at Western Australia’s most respected universities.
Necessary skills for a successful business
We teach face-to-face, all the skills necessary to successfully manage each part of an electrical contracting business. This ranges from testing a domestic electrical installation to planning a large scale job and everything in between.
We train our students with a strong focus in business development, cost analysis and legal requirements to ensure students are equipped to build their own business the right way. These skills not only help to run a profitable venture as an independent electrician, but are valuable in all aspects of managing any business to become successful.
Whilst other providers tend to deliver lessons online, we prefer a hands-on approach so we can personally guide and help you with any areas of the program you may have difficulty with.
