You may have heard that the State Government has announced a $53 million package that will see some training fees slashed. What they didn’t announce is that this also applies to CET’s award winning apprenticeship training.
Free Courses
CET can now offer free training in Try A Trade, both one day (sponsored by ECAWA), and three days in conjunction with CTF. Also with CTF Supplementary Skills Funding for apprentices, apprentices can access up to $1,000 of free training.
Half Priced Courses*
Starting from January 2020 and running until the end of 2021, the course fees for UEE22011 Certificate II in Electrotechnology and UEE30811 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician are capped! This means that for some apprentices your fees will actually be less than half of normal, and for pre-apprentices, the training costs have been greatly reduced.
This is a great result for electrical apprentice training – and it's on the back of lobbying by ECA WA and CET to get a better deal for our apprentices and employers.
Become skills ready and contact CET to access free and discounted training courses today!
*Note that conditions apply to fees as outlined in the DTWD VET Fees & Charges Policy.
