VERIFIED 2021 was the first of its kind for CET – an event designed to let apprentices celebrate the end of their studies by letting their hair down, and re-connecting with their former classmates, set against the backdrop of the iconic Perth Mess Hall.
With over 175 registered to attend the event, the evening was a shining example of what we believe many in the trade-world are missing – a graduation-style event for new tradespeople who have come through CET. And we are please to report that the event was a resounding success!
With the Minister for Education and Training, the Hon. Sue Ellery in attendance and giving the first Verified event speech to the newly graduated apprentices, thanking them for their hard work and dedication to a great career. We also heard from the ECA WA CEO, Carl Copeland who highlighted the importance of having a trade in today’s day and age.
There was fantastic food from two different food trucks – Macs American Diner and Fusion – and plenty of drinks from the bar. We were also fortunate enough to have a fantastic DJ for the evening, providing some upbeat tunes for the evening.
