This accredited course delivers the required knowledge and skills necessary for working safely using a portable appliance tester, identifying faults, arranging for repair of faulty equipment, applying tagging, and completing test documentation.
The training course encompasses testing and tagging using a portable appliance tester (PAT) and is for people with little or no understanding of electrical theory that are required to use a PAT to test electrical equipment.
**This course can be booked as a bundle with the Electrical Cords and Plugs Course for only $495 (save up to $130)! If you are working in the Construction Industry, you may be eligible for CTF funding which will reduce the bundled course cost to $148.50 (an additional saving of $346.50 !)
By combining and successfully completing these two courses, not only will you be able to safely and legally use a Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) machine, but also change the plug or cord if it fails the PAT test or is damaged. This course combination will is run for three days.
