The Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) course (delivered online and at the CET Joondalup campus in conjunction with Global Drone Solutions), is the certification required by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), to become a qualified drone/UAV pilot and operate RPAS within the commercial environment.
Why do this course?
Obtaining your Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) is the first step to being able to operate remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS), otherwise known as drones or UAV's for commercial or business purposes. The unmanned aviation industry is set to grow significantly in the next decade and remote piloted aircraft (RPA) have already begun replacing manned aircraft in many roles.
Inspecting a roof for solar panel installation or maintenance, utilities inspections, industrial busbar inspections or large scale infrastructure in the mining, gas and oil sectors, are all being completed with drones and will continue to grow!
