Course Overview

This course will provide the knowledge and skills to conduct an energy efficiency audit and provide your customers with solutions to their increasing energy costs.

Course Content

This topic gives a synopsis of current environmental issues, increasing energy costs and conservation strategies in construction and Electrical Installations.

Energy audit requirements, audit process and recommended equipment for conducting an energy audit are covered.
 

Certification & Assessment

This course requires participants to successfully complete an energy audit assignment.
 
Graduates will be issued with a Certificate of Completion. On successful completion of this course, the business trading name and contact details will be added to the NECA Energy Smart Electrical Contractor Register.

Course Requirements

Applicants must hold a current WA Unrestricted Electrician’s Licence or equivalent issued in an Australian State or Territory.

Electrical Engineers, who are full members of NECA are also eligible.

Fully enclosed shoes must be worn at all times in CET buildings. Safety boots/shoes must be worn when working in the workshop.
