New electrical installations and any modification to existing installations (such as repairs and upgrades), must be tested before being put into service or use. This is to ensure that the installations comply with the Australian and New Zealand electrical installations standards (AS/NZS 3000). The College of Electrical Training provides a non-accredited course to final year apprentice electrical mechanics, electrical fitters and licensed electricians - the training, skills and knowledge to visually inspect and test a low voltage electrical installation in compliance with the requirement of AS/NZS 3000. Fees are subject to change. * Relevant Membership discount will be applied to the full fee. CET will verify membership eligibility.
