How do I apply?

For general pre-apprenticeship places, you will need to complete the following steps:
When: All year round
Where: Joondalup or Jandakot campus
At CET, we have a ‘rolling intake’ - essentially it means there are more opportunities for you to start across the year, which means more chance of you getting into your class sooner.
We also have our online learning platform - CET Learning, which allows our students to participate and study remotely, including reinforcing your learning from class. Also, you’ll get your hands on our first-in-class, patented, skills based learning boards, the Blue Panels, which help teach our students on cutting-edge techniques, skills, and equipment - essential for their transition to the workforce.
What are the prerequisites?
There are no prerequisites for studying a pre-apprenticeship, however for pre-apprenticeship in school (PAiS), since the program runs over years 11 and 12, you will.
How long does it take?
Pre-apprenticeship courses for general students usually run over three months, with work experience on top of that. If you are doing your pre-apprenticeship in school, it runs over year 11 and year 12.
Half Price/capped course fees!
What's better than half price course fees?* How about a fees cap?
That's right — regardless of how much the course fees for your qualification are, you will not pay more than the set fees cap amount per qualification or course each calendar year.
Please see the DTWD FAQ regarding the Lower Fees, Local Skills half price and fee cap for more information.
