This nationally accredited course delivers the requisite training to licensed electricians in the design and installation of grid connected photovoltaic systems and associated equipment required for Clean Energy Council Accreditation. The course provides knowledge and practical skills in the design and installation, set-up, test, fault find, repair and maintenance of grid-connected photovoltaic systems.
The Units of Competency also contribute to the completion of relevant Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma qualifications from the UEE11 Electrotechnology Training Package.
Applicants must hold a current WA Unrestricted Electrician Licence or equivalent issued in an Australian state or territory. By providing evidence of this licence, you will meet the pre-requisite requirements of units UEENEEK125A and UEENEEK148A. All units of competency must be achieved. Evidence of the above must be presented in order to confirm your enrolment on this course.
Students will require the ability to carry out complex calculations quickly and accurately.
Participants are required to wear enclosed shoes, long sleeves, long pants and sunglasses whilst completing this course.
Fully enclosed shoes must be worn at all times in CET buildings. Safety boots/shoes must be worn when working in the workshop.
