Terms and Conditions 

The College of Electrical Training will use all information that is collected and provided by you for the purpose of your initial and continued enrolment and identification only. This information will not be provided to any third party, without your express permission. 

Your password should be kept private and confidential at all times. The College of Electrical Training cannot be held responsible for any difficulties occurring through the disclosure of your password to another party. 

Payment needs to be made first in order to secure your place within your chosen course at the College of Electrical Training. Your enrolment will not be accepted or processed until full payment has been received and verified. 

The College of Electrical Training cannot guarantee that, on payment for a place in a course, that a place will be available. Should a place not be available following payment, the College of Electrical Training will refund all fees in accordance with its refund terms and conditions.   

Cancellation Policy for Post Trade & General Courses

8 days or more 
prior to course/unit
commencement:  100% fee refund 

2 to 7 days 
prior to course/unit
commencement:  90% fee refund 

1 day or less 
prior to course/unit
commencement:  Nil fee refund 

Transfer Policy for Post Trade & General Courses

Initial transfer request made 8 days or more prior to course commencement:                     
No fee applies

1 to 7 days prior to course commencement: 
10% of full fee charge
Any subsequent requests for course transfers: 
10% of full fee charge
 

Refund Policy for Post Trade & General Courses

We understand that due to unforeseen circumstances it is sometimes necessary for a participant to cancel from a course/unit of competency on which they are registered. Should you wish to cancel your registration our cancellation policy should be observed.

Withdrawal Policy for Pre-Apprenticeship & Apprenticeship

You must complete and submit a Formal Withdrawal application form with relevant supporting documentation if applicable to notify if you cannot attend any part of your course, failure to do so by the due day will result in a financial penalty.
 
There is no fee for formal withdrawal prior to 8 working days before commencement date of the unit/course.
 
Formal withdrawal from units/course 7 working days before the scheduled start date of the unit/course and completed less than 20% of the unit/course duration an administration fee applies regardless of attendance. The administration fee is $75 per unit and you will receive an invoice for the administration fee. If you qualify for special circumstances please refer to the Formal Withdrawal application form for further details.  
 
If you formally withdraw or you are absent from or discontinue your course after 20% of the duration of the course/unit has passed you remain liable for the full cost of those units. If you qualify for special circumstances please refer to the Formal Withdrawal application form for further details.
